My reasons for not doing it sooner were to avoid any inconveniece to my visitors, but as time has gone by things have changed online. It's now time I employ some mild tactics to protect my bandwidth from those with no regard for my investment of time and money in this site.

The other options are removal of the site or moving to a paysite, but neither are something I want to do right now. I'm willing to start off this way and see how it goes.

In the future I hope to add a feature for people who'd like to support the site. A small donation will give them their own username and password that will be good for a long period of time (subject to termination if abused). This would help the many frequent visitors so they don't have constantly check for the new username and password. If you are a frequent visitor that I know of (who has emailed many times, etc), please contact me and I will consider issuing a long-term password to you. I will do this on a case by case basis, and no one is guaranteed anything. If I find that the password is being handed out or posted elsewhere, it will be terminated immediately.

The username and password posted for general access for all visitors will updated frequently, without notice and at my discretion.
