Saturday, December 20 Holiday happenings Hi there folks! I hope things are going well with your holiday plans and festivities. This year is a bit suck for me, but I'm doing my best to make the best of it all. My friends and I have canceled gift exchanges due to the fact that we're all broke to some degree or another... and that's fine. We all love each other and we'll just do something next year if things are better all around. We are all going away the week after Christmas to spend a little time together and away from it all. Just driving distance, no big huge travel - so should be easy and relaxing. I took the step to start selling my jewelry, but the timing was bad because I sold almost everything before I did it and now I'm out of supplies to make much new... but things are coming, so I'll start again in a week or two. Hmmm, can't think of much else right now... just sort of plugging along. First time I heard it my thoughts were "aww nice verse.... wow, again.... really??.... Oh Come ON!!!" Now it's like WHO alert, it's infected me and I'm just hoping to recover someday. LOVE IT. Glad to know a few of you are still flitting around out there! :D So, I've been really busy getting ready for my first attempt at selling some stuff I've been making.... jewelry. I'm not really great at selling things or knowing that I"m doing something someone might find interesting. So anyway, we're having a little work fair tomorrow and I'm going to be selling some of my earrings... we'll see if anyone wants to buy them. I told a friend about my anxiety and she said "of course, it's like having a party and thinking no one is going to show up"... and she is dead on. It feels vulnerable in a way, and I'm sort of an open wound lately... so hopefully I'll sell at LEAST one pair. That would at least give me some hope that I'm not just wasting time and money. I love the hobby, but if I can't get rid of any of it, what's the point!? hahaha Here's a couple of pictures of things... everything is different, so I can't really show you all of them without boring you to death.
