Saturday, April 12 Time is flying... I can't believe it's been so long since my last post, but I've been crazy busy, so I'll run it all down for you. I have had my surgery. My date was 3/3 and all went amazingly well. Yes, I have a few scars on my belly to show for my trouble, but the biggest one is only about 3-4 cm and they're healing really well. I am thrilled. I know it's not a huge deal, but when you're used to your body looking one way, it's hard to adjust to it looking different from something, even something as minor as tiny new scars. So, I'm well, the tumor is gone, and I'm glad that chapter is behind me. Work has been crazy busy before and after surgery. It's my busiest time of year right now - fall is pretty bad, but right now is nuts. I've finally got a new person who's dedicated to helping with my job, so we're working out systems and organization that will make everything smoother going forward. I'm really excited about it. My family is good, my kitties are great, my friends are all doing ok. Keith and I are coming up on our one year anniversary, which is just weird to me since I've never had one. But it's a nice feeling to know you're both generally happy and want to move forward and just take things day by day, etc. I'm about to pay my last HUGE tax bill as a freelance worker. Hopefully next year I'll be all set being back in the regular work force full time. I still don't have your email address, but I finally got to my mailbox today and found the treats you'd sent along. Thank you! :D I love the caramels and the Droste pastilles, but it's all wonderful. And the candles are so nice, I put them on my mantle.
