Day-to-Day Doings
I read that somewhere. I wrote it down, and then I read it.

State of site.

I've been thinking a lot about what to do with my happy little home here, and I'm at a loss. In an ideal world, I want to take the whole thing down, reorganize and design, and repost it later.

I have a very busy summer coming up (Vegas, NAAFA, work, etc.) so I know this won't happen any time soon.

Here's the question... what would you all prefer? I take it down, for a long time, and get all the work done, and put it back up when it's done? Or I just sort of leave it as is until I have the time to do it all a bit more quickly?

I can work on parts of it behind the scenes, definitely, could really do the whole thing that way, so the change would be seamless, but still a long way off.

I don't know. I've been thinking about this for probably over a year, and Chuck's suggestion that I revamp the About Me page got me thinking more and more. I can do that no problem, but it doesn't really solve the larger issue.

I'd welcome feedback on this.

Housekeeping issues.

Been bugging me for a while, but I'm CONVINCED that the new voice of the Ge*ico gekko is Ed San*ders from Ext*reme Hom*e Mak*eOver. I've known it for a while, but now I feel the need to get it off my chest.... it's bugging me. I like his voice a lot, so that's not bugging me, just bugging me that it's so clearly him, and no one seems to mention it. There... did it.

Okay, went out today, shot a set for the other site, spent a couple of hours in the pool with my friend... very relaxing, and I even got a little sunburn. Now, I'm trying hard to say away from too much sun (bad for my aging skin!) but I admit I do look better with a smidge of color. It hurts, but being the first color of the season, I'm fine with it. :)

Here's a picture from today, 'cause I like you guys and all and I've been so insanely lax about updates here - guilt catches up with you. :)

I have a bunch of work to do tomorrow (no deadline, but I'm behind for the schedule I wanted to keep this weekend), and car goes in on Monday to have its computer looked at (being cranky apparently). I'm going to Ik*ea on Thurs. to hopefully get my bedroom clothing storage situation solved once and for all... sheesh, I can't take it anymore. I need dressers!!!! :)

Hmm, what else... I need to get some al*len wrenches to fix my monitor on my desktop (it's gone half dim, and after figuring out what's up, I have a part to fix it, but have to operate on it...).

Whew, I think that's it for now... busy, busy, busy!!! :D

Back to vegging for the night. If you're bored online hit the Dim. Forums and join in the fun... if you register (which you SHOULD!), put me in the referrer section (ya know, tell 'em I sent you... and no, I don't get anything for that... LOL)

Later tater tots.

Nice weekend. :)

I had a nice time, saw friends, had some laughs. I'm SO tired from a long week, but it's a good tired... lots accomplished, talks with friends, social time, work, errands, gym, the whole enchilada baby!

I have another busy one coming up this week, but it's ok.. I guess I'd rather be somewhat busy than trying to figure out how to fill the hours.

:)

Have a nice week. :D

Cookie is right?

Nah, not even close at this point, but at least I've developed a slow, steady, but thready heartbeat of a social life. It's still on life support, and nothing is even close to a thing, but it's nice to at least see blips on the radar for a change.

I've been working a lot, projects and some office work, and site work (not this one) has fallen a smidge behind. I plan to get a set tomorrow while I'm out with some friends, so hopefully that holds up. I am a bit overdue, and it always makes me feel bad. :( (As I finish this post 2 days later, set is done, should be up soon.)

Things are going ok with my family. We had to put the doggy down last week, which really just put a nice punctuation mark on all the issues we're having. No more doggie duty for me... which, as much as it was a scheduling issue, I'd rather have it to do than have her gone. She was a good, good dog while we had her and she made it 14 years... trooper. :)

I'm getting excited about Vegas in July, I really want this vacation... I need it. Will be happy on departure day. :D

Hmm, guess that's all for now.... hope you're all well. ;)
