I've been fighting off this stupid cold (not really super sick, just tired/under the weather if you know what I mean) for about 2 weeks. I'm ready to be done, I just work, come home. sleep, work, repeat. I have a busy two weeks coming up with some work at the office I've been going to, and two freelance projects that I just got... yay me! I'll be busy, but I'm so thankful for the work, I will not complain. I would love to get my finances in better shape, so hopefully a few more things like this will help me out with that. :) I hope you're all well, and just know that even if I don't have anything to post, I'm still always thinking about it... Christmas was very nice. Everyone enjoyed their presents, as did I, and it was a good time. I saw friends, family, the whole deal. I had a nice holiday season, I must say. New Years Eve was really fun, all dressed up (no pic, of course... gah! I'm working on it, there were people with cameras). We had a lot of friends come and hang out, so it was a social time for Heather and I for a change. Not completely without work, but still fun. :) I've been working full time at the office I've been helping out, just for two weeks, but man... I'm not used to that! :) Made me tired by Friday. I'm sure I'll be better this week, just have to get back in the habit. It didn't help (but I'm always happy to have work!) that I had a little freelance project going at the same time. And now, I had a quick visit with Heather over the weekend (not nearly as fun as my original plans, but still always nice to be with friends), I'm home and beginning a cold, yay! :) I know, bitch, bitch, bitch, right? :) Well, I think I'm going to be nice to myself and hit the sack early tonight, cuddle up under the blankets and think nice thoughts. posted by AM | 1/08/2006 09:48:00 PM |
