Sunday, March 31 My Top 5 list... being worked on. 1. Ty Pennington - from Trading Spaces on TLC - love him. Ty, if you're out there and you like cute, fun fat girls, let me know! 2. Gary Dourdan - from CSI and some movies, etc. Hot as hell... no words. 3. Jonny Moseley - Olympic skier. Mmmm, mmm, mmm. 4 and 5 are still open. This is what happens when I have nothing to do on a Sunday night. posted by AM | 3/31/2002 08:55:00 PM Here comes Peter Cottontail, Hopping down the bunny trail, Hippity hop-hop Easter's on its way..... Okay, enough song. Today can be summed as: ham, augratin potatoes, greenbean casserole and pineapple upsidedown cake. Enough said. Happy Easter, folks! :) posted by AM | 3/31/2002 06:36:00 PM Saturday, March 30 This entry is dedicated to pictures of c*cks and bad pickup lines. So, I get an email from a guy, including a picture of his face. He's nice, we have interests in common, he lives in my area (always a plus, but a huge rarity), and we catch each other online and chat a bit. He's nice, pleasant, we exchange maybe 20 lines or so of conversation. I check my email and there is another picture from him. I open it, and it's him in all his unclothed, semi-erect glory. Huh?? I just don't understand the transition from "hey, we both like Mighty, Mighty Bosstones" to "oh, and here is my c*ck". I'm at a loss. I was dicussing this with my glorious friend Sophie last night, and we came up with a good scenario for how this would equate to "in person" meetings. You go to a coffee shop, say Starbucks, and you meet a nice guy... he's cute, friendly, you're chatting about weather, where you live, what you do... very pleasant as you sip away on your foaming latte frou-frou coffee whatever. 10 minutes pass, and he pushes back in his chair and decides it is time for you to meet "all" of him. Where does this urge come from? Is it bragging? Or is it getting things "out of the way"? Is it to serve as a warning? "This is all I've got, so don't be shocked if we get to that point." Or maybe "This is for you." Sort of like roses? Is it a sign that you like us?? I just don't understand. Am I expected to respond, if I like you, with a picture of dripping wet pink parts? Sorry, I know I'm going wayyyyy over what many of you expect from me, but I have HAD it with this crap. I just wish I could either understand, or on the flip-side make you guys understand that the majority of women don't need to see that for conversation, and if we do get a point where we need it... we'll ask. I swear. So, keep it holstered boys and never send it unannounced. Sheesh. As for bad pickup lines, here is todays... a gem I'd say. "hi ann marie can i ask you a question , was your dad a baker, just curious cause you have a nice set of buns babe." Nice, huh? Oh yeah, that's exactly what a chick like me is looking for. :) Ahhh, ok, back to my Saturday afternoon... I'm sure you've had enough. LOL posted by AM | 3/30/2002 04:39:00 PM Thursday, March 28 Okay, here it is Thursday afternoon. I've been having an odd week. A very good friend's mother is sick, and I found out yesterday that my mother is now fighting something of her own. I don't talk about my family on here, but I am very close to my mom, so it's sort of thrown me off that she's got something large to deal with now. (Are you sensing the "C"? Yes, treatable, but nonetheless a "C".) On a much lighter note, I got some new specs today, and for fun I got my hair straightened out (just for the day, another alter ego I guess). I look really different with the combination of the two... it's so odd. I took a couple of pictures that I'll post later probably. I just keep looking in the mirror and not seeing "me" there. Magically, a shower will return my curls, and the glasses I'm sure I'll be use to in no time at all. Well, I'm off to run some errands... so later taters. :) posted by AM | 3/28/2002 01:57:00 PM Sunday, March 17 Hello there folks. I've been wanting to try a "diary" type scenario on here for a bit... so here it is. I don't think I'll actually update it daily, but perhaps every few days, or weekly. Today has been a lovely relaxing day, stayed in, watched television, baked some cookies. Perfect Sunday. Yesterday I went out with a friend and snapped a few pictures, so I may be posting those sometime this week... it was FREEEEEZZINGGG outside, so hopefully they will be appreciated. :) Okay, well, that's all for now folks. Time to think about dinner. Bye- AnnMarie posted by AM | 3/17/2002 07:14:00 PM |
